COVID-19 (UPDATED 02/04/20)

02/04/20: As of 12am Tuesday 31/3/20 all NSW residents now legally have to remain at home unless they have a "reasonable excuse" for leaving. The below list from 25th March has now been updated.

25/03/20: The Stage 2 Restrictions outlined below announced by Prime Minister Scott Morrison, 24th March 2020, coming into effect 11.59pm Wednesday 25th March. These are all designed to aggressively and pro-actively stop the spread of COVID-19 in our community, and keep all Australians safe.


02/04/20: As of 12am Tuesday 31/3/20 all NSW residents now legally have to remain at home unless they have a "reasonable excuse" for leaving.

These excuses include

Getting food and other goods/services

Travelling to work of education


Medical resaons


YES: Restaurant, Cafe and Food Court takeaway and home delivery

YES: Bar, Pub and Botle Shop take away

NO: Any dine in or sit down

NO: Any drink in bars or pubs

Concord: Espresso 96 and most other restaurants and cafes remain open for takeaway, with many offering direct delivery or through Uber Eats etc. Check with each venue directly.


YES: hairdressers with appointments up to 30 minutes only

NO: Tanning

NO: Beauty Therapy

NO: Waxing

NO: Nail Salons

NO: Tattoo parlours

Concord: Salons are closed, but many are still offering their retail lines pickup or deliver, if you need and beauty products please contact them


NO: Cinemas

NO: Nightclubs

NO: Casinos, gaming and gambling venues

NO: Adult entertainment venues

NO: Concert venues

NO: Arenas and stadiums

NO: Theatres and Auditoriums

Concord: All closed


NO: Galleries and museums

NO: Historic site

NO: Libraries

NO: Community facilities halls etc.

NO: Places of worship

Concord: All closed


YES: Fitness Training outdoors up to 10 people

YES: Community centre essential servcies

YES: Golf courses

NO: Community centre leisure activities

NO: Health clubs and fitness centres

NO: Yoga

NO: Spin classes

NO: Saunas and bathhouses

NO: Wellness centres

NO: Social sporting

NO: Swimming pools

NO: Sporting grounds

NO: Playground Equipment

Concord: most trainers, facilitators, gyms, yoga etc are offering online, zoom, Facebook live etc classes to their members, check with yours or join one today for at home training.


YES: Wedding up to 5 persons maximum

YES: Funerals up to 10 persons maximum

NO: Personal gatherings

NO: Birthday parties


YES: All retail remains open (most on restricted hours)

NO: Outdoor indoor markets remain

NO: Auction houses

NO: Cellar doors

Concord: a lot of small local retail is closed or working on restricted hours, please check before visiting.


YES: Private appointment for inspection

NO: Open house inspections

Concord: Contact your local real estate agents to check what they are doing.


NO: Australians travelling overseas

NO: Interstate travel impossible due to state borders being closed
